Orthodontic Technician
I am married to Matt with five children, Katelyn, Cole, Jace, Jenna and Mazie, along with two grandchildren, Isabel and Greyson. I love spending time with my family playing board games and watching movies. In my spare time I like to play the piano and crochet.
I grew up in Idaho and graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree and then soon after got married and stayed home to take care of my kids. It was such a blessing to be able to do that. I moved to Valdez, Alaska in 2015 and as my kids got older and were all in school, I decided to start working. I started at Eagle River Orthodontics in 2018 with on-the-job training as an assistant. I’ve never worked with such an amazing team and Dr. Robert DeKay is awesome with the patients and always brings a happy atmosphere to the office.

I grew up in a dental family and have always loved it when a patient leaves confident in their teeth. I have worked with Eagle River Orthodontics since March of 2022. I have a Bachelor’s degree and am a wife and mom of two. I enjoy reading, painting, traveling, and running. I love working for Eagle River Orthodontics in the Valdez office because I feel confident in our team. I am grateful to work with Eagle River Orthodontics where I feel like the work I do really makes people proud of their beautiful smile.

Orthodontic Technician
I’ve worked with Dr. Robert DeKay in Valdez since 2022. Orthodontics is a new field for me that I am excited to be continually gaining knowledge and skills in. I graduated from Washington State University and worked in Interior Design before having kids and moving to Valdez. Growing up as a military brat, Valdez is the first place that I’ve lived in for an extended period of time. Valdez is a great community and we are fortunate to have Dr. DeKay provide us with Orthodontic care. Working with Dr. DeKay is fun and he cares for each patient attentively. I enjoy being a part of the Eagle River Orthodontics-Valdez team.
